I. Research Fields:

  1. Molecular signaling pathways of specific GPCRs and chemokine receptor variants, and their functional roles in immune-related diseases and cancer progression.

  2. Molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways of interleukins in the pathogenesis of inflammatory and immune-related diseases.

  3. Screening of novel drug candidates and specific inhibitors, alongside the evaluation of their therapeutic efficacy in vitro and in vivo.

Please include the following information with your application:

  • Cover letter/Personal Statement and Research Proposal (for PostDoc and Graduate students)

  • GPA  (3.5 or higher (out of 4.5), or 3.36 or higher (out of 4.3), or 3.14 or higher (out of 4.0), or 85 or higher (out of 100) from latest university.

  • Degrees and other completed courses, work experience and a list of degree projects/theses.

  • Language skills certification (TOEFL iBT 82 or higher, or Academic IELTS 6.0 or higher, or New TEPS 337 or higher, or TOPIK level 4 or higher to satisfy Admission and Scholarship requirements).

  • Letter of recommendation or contact details for 1-2 references.

III. Benefits

  • Fully covered tuition fee (supported by Korea University's type C scholarship and Medical Science Research scholarship) 

  • Monthly stipend (supported by BK21 Four KUMC and Korea University Hospital)

  • Combined Master-Ph.D Course: 1.000.000KRW per month, up to 2.000.000KRW after completing the Coursework 

  • Ph.D Course: 1.200.000KRW per month, up to 2.000.000KRW after completing the Coursework
